Norway Lutheran Church (ELCA), located in Western Racine County, five miles northeast of Waterford, is seeking a new Administrative Assistant to work in our creative and energetic office. The position is 5-6 hours per day, 5 days a week, but could grow. Position duties include offering a pleasant greeting to all contacting/entering the church office while providing clerical support to pastors as well as program ministry staff and teams. This position is also responsible for keeping the church membership records and providing communication to the congregation and community as requested.

Responsibilities:
Norway Lutheran Church (ELCA), located in Western Racine County, five miles northeast of Waterford, is seeking a church musician to join our stellar staff of musicians already in place. Your weekly responsibilities would be to play hymns (primarily on the organ) on Saturday evenings (5pm) and Sunday mornings (8am); and to accompany the choir (primarily on the piano) at Wednesday evening rehearsals (6:30pm) and Sunday worship services (8am)—the choir accompaniment responsibilities are from September through May. You are also invited to join in seasonal music planning and will be the accompanist for special services during Lent, Holy Week, and the Christmas Season. Our staff includes the Norway Choir Director who holds a doctorate in choral music, an experienced and talented multi-instrumentalist who leads the handbell choirs and contemporary worship team, and an AV Worship Manager who is also a highly skilled musician. All work collaboratively across a variety of music styles to provide a joyful and rewarding musical experience for all. The pipe organ was recently rebuilt and, together with the pianos, is regularly tuned and serviced.
